Lacrosse Health and safety tips

Starting with the 2010-2011 School Year, Ridge View Sports Medicine will begin testing all of our Football Players, Wrestlers, soccer player and Boys Lacrosse Players with the Impact Test. This is a computer based program that is usefull in helping determine the extent of concussions and help with return to play guidelines.

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS OF ATHLETES WHO WERE INJURED DURING 2009-2010. THERE IS A NEW INSURANCE CLAIM FORM THAT YOU NEED IN ORDER TO PROCESS YOUR CLAIM FROM YOUR SON/ DAUGHTER'S INJURY. EMAIL COACH HOPPE FOR MORE DETAILS!!!

All athletes will need to have a new physical on file dated after April 1, 2010 in order to participate in athletics in 2010-2011.

Our team physician, Dr Evan Ekman and his staff at Southern Orthopedic Sports Medicine ,conducted over 250 physicals over a two day period here at Ridge View for the athletes participating in sports next year. Dr Ekman donated over $2,500 to the athletic program over these two days. He has donated roughly Ten Thousand Dollars over the last 5 years to Ridge View.
