Scholars Symposium
The Scholars Symposium is the student organization that allows Academy members to participate in social and service activities. It functions as the extra-curricular body of teh Academy. Decisions of what the Symposium does is entirely student driven. Elected officers are aided by an advisor council made up or representatives from members of each class.
Symposium meetings are held each month on the first Tuesday of the month in Dr. Bates' room A-4. All members of the Academy are invited to each of the Symposium meetings. The Officers and Grade Level Council Representatives meet on the third Tuesday of each month to plan activites and prepare for the general meeting.
Activites of the Symposium provide an opportunity for students who share a common outlook to enjoy each others company and to create a community of support.
