Parents of Scholars |

The Parents of Scholars organization provides parents an opportunity to become involved in shaping the educational and social activities of their student. Monthly meetings of parents with the Director of the Academy and relevant guest speakers promote discussion of issues of concern such as the college search process, scholarship application, and student recognition. Parents of Scholars host a fall picnic to kick off the school year and organize the Scholars Banquet in May to recognize student’s accomplishments and award senior their Scholars Academy diploma. Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of each
month at 7:00 PM in the Information Media Center. |

Over the course of the year issues of particular importance
to individual classes may occupy a meeting, or the meeting may be of interest
to all classes. Parents of Scholars also helps to provide support to the
program and sponsors activities for both parents and students. |
