I was born in Long Island, New York. My fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Weisman, instilled in me a love for reading and writing. She showed me the power of words and the creativity that lies within all of us. Years later, with a collection of my own writing, I have tried to instill that same love of reading, writing, and creating in my own classrooms.
