English

I
was born in New York, and at 6 months my parents discovered I was deaf, (from an accident during delivery with forceps). I had an operation on my ears at 7 months, and then could hear. But I was very sensitive to cold, so my father got a transfer from his company to move to southern California. I grew up in Long Beach. I am married and have 2 grown sons. I play theharp. I write poetry, short stories, and so far have written 3 books (none published yet), and am working on 2 more. I draw and do watercolors, and take art photos. I do calligraphy and make woven-ribbon pillows.

This year I teach English 3 (1 + 2), English 1 CP (3), HSAP (5), SAT Prep (6), and Creative Writing (7). I teach SAT and ACT preparation after school on T, W, and Th in my room (B-57). This service is free to any student.
